It's been wall-to-wall protests in downtown San Francisco, which followed up last night's march against president-elect Donald Trump with a walkout led by the city's high-school students this morning.

Now, it appears that protesters may be taking to the streets once again, but with a change of location. A now-deleted Facebook event has called for protesters to gather at the Embarcadero (no intersection given) at 6pm to oppose the electoral college, which many Hillary Clinton supporters have decried, given that she appears poised to win the popular vote

While an erroneous Facebook event post attributed tonight's protest to ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), the group that led last night's protest at Powell and Market, the organization said it is not involved, and has had the event deleted.

“We’re in favor of anybody protesting Trump, but opposing the electoral college, specifically, we cannot associate with," said a representative for the group.

Nonetheless, with many news outlets having already reported on the erroneous ANSWER protest, it appears likely that some protesters will show up.

We'll have more on tonight's protest if and when it unfolds, and we're asking Hoodline readers to help by being our eyes and ears on the ground.
