A Muni passenger was injured last night when three teenagers assaulted him and stole his laptop, police have reported.

The incident occurred around 8:40pm on a light-rail vehicle when three male suspects—two 17-year-olds and a 12-year-old—grabbed a laptop belonging to a 42-year-old man.

When the victim tried to retrieve the device, the suspects punched him, but were arrested a short time later. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening wounds, refused medical attention.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
