Last weekend, San Francisco witnessed another instance of a robocar causing disruption in civil society. Video footage of the incident shows a Waymo taxi stranded in the Nob Hill intersection of Clay and Leavenworth streets. The vehicle, with no driver on board, blocked a Muni bus from making its turn, forcing passengers to disembark. There is growing concern over robocars interfering with emergency responders, as highlighted by SF Fire Department Chief Jeanine Nicholson, who has labeled the vehicles "not ready for prime time."
