Tragedy struck near a northwest Atlanta shopping plaza where two men were fatally shot, authorities said. The incident unfolded in the wee hours around 12:50 a.m. at Simpson Plaza on the 700 block of Joseph E. Boone Blvd. NW. One of the victims, aged 51, succumbed to a gunshot wound at the scene. The other, a 49-year-old man, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and rushed to the hospital. There, he was pronounced dead, as reported by Atlanta News First.

Atlanta police are now on the hunt for the gunman involved in the shooting that led to an overnight argument turning deadly. In an effort to apprehend the suspect, authorities have released video footage believed to feature the man responsible for the killings.
