Post-altercation, Jones assured fans of his well-being with a brief appearance on social media – a post he later removed. "I’m alright, give me a second, I gotta get dressed for this party, man. I’ll be right with y'all," Jones stated in the video. "Promise you, promise you, I’m alright.” As indicated by the footage, deputies from a Broward Sheriff’s Office intervened to cease the altercation. Jones claimed that his involvement was in self-defense, noting that the incident took place shortly after his arrival at the airport.
