At a Houston gas station early Tuesday, a man reportedly shot his girlfriend to death before engaging in two separate shootouts with a deputy constable. According to FOX 26 Houston, the chaotic scene began around midnight at the intersection of MacGregor and Almeda.

Houston Fire Department paramedics, who were refueling their ambulance, witnessed the tragic domestic dispute escalate to deadly gunfire, as reported by KHOU. Responding to the incident, the deputy constable was injured, and the suspect managed to steal the deputy's vehicle and flee the scene in what could only be described as a moment ripped from a crime drama.

The suspect, who is still on the run and considered armed and dangerous, came back briefly to the scene in another car before escaping once more. Police have yet to release the suspect's name but have disclosed that he was driving a black Chevrolet Camaro with Texas license plate DTB4849. Assistant Chief Jessica Anderson of the Houston Police Department detailed the events, stating "The deputy engaged the suspect after the traffic stop, immediately went into a shooting. The officer retreated, exchange rounds. The suspect then got into the deputy’s vehicle and drove away," Following the encounters, the deputy constable was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, possibly from a fall.
