A road rage incident on Interstate 95 in Miami escalated into gun violence late Friday night, leaving one man hospitalized after a bullet grazed his arm. The altercation took place in the southbound lanes near State Road 836, as reported by NBC Miami.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the clash involved two vehicles and ended when one individual fired twice at another car, striking the driver’s side window and grazing the driver's left arm. Meanwhile, WSVN reports that City of Miami Fire Rescue teams arrived on scene just after 11:40 p.m. to administer aid to the injured man, who subsequently was listed in stable condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

The specifics of what provoked the gunfire have not been disclosed. The authorities are yet to release information regarding a suspect or any arrests that may have followed the disturbing event on one of Miami's major highways.
