The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed the safe location of Gisselle Gonzalez, a 31-year-old woman who was reported missing on April 12, according to an LAPD news release. Gonzalez was found at a shelter in Los Angeles on Monday after a search that lasted nearly a month.

Before her disappearance, Gisselle was last seen walking in the 300 block of South Catalina Street in Los Angeles, she was out of touch with her family and was unable to reach her through her cell phone, sparking worry and an urgent call from authorities for public assistance. As per the LAPD's description, Gisselle Gonzalez is a Hispanic female, with black hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build, and there were concerns regarding her health, considering she requires medication regularly.

The LAPD, combined with efforts from Gisselle's family, had sought the help of the community, issuing pleas for any information that might lead to finding Gonzalez. They had advised anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit or the LA Regional Crime Stoppers for those who wished to remain anonymous.
