MVTA Revs Up Seasonal 4FUN Route to Valleyfair and South Metro Hotspots Starting May 9Source: Scott County, MN

Fun-seekers and thrill-riders, mark your calendars! Starting May 9, the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) will be bringing back the seasonal 4FUN route, all prepped to shuttle excitement enthusiasts to Valleyfair Amusement Park, which opens its doors on May 12 this year. The 4FUN route offers a convenient ride to some of the South Metro's prime destinations on Thursdays through Sundays until late at night, says MVTA.

The 4FUN route is set to to make 13 daily stops at hotspots including Mystic Lake Casino, Twin Cities Premium Outlets, and Mall of America, proving to be a boon for folks looking to easily hop between these leisure poles. “We are thrilled that MVTA will make it easy to visit Valleyfair by providing convenient transportation options for both our guests and associates via the 4FUN route,” Valleyfair's vice president & general manager Raul Rehnborg told Scott County Minnesota in a statement. If you're in Burnsville or Shakopee, the ride connects seamlessly with the Burnsville Transit Station and Marschall Road Transit Station, intertwining local and regional travel threads.

But that's not all – MVTA is slapping on some sweet fare deals. Adults can ride for $2.50, while seniors aged 65 and up, as well as youths between 6-12, can hop on for just a buck. Differently-abled riders with the right qualifications and munchkins under 5 can enjoy the ride absolutely free, just like veterans flashing their service-connected ID. All this, according to the MVTA's schedule and tariff updates.

Those interested in getting the complete scoop on the 4FUN route schedule or fishing for more deets can head to MVTA's website or call straight up to their Customer Service.
