Palmdale's High Desert Beer & Wine Festival is throwing an '80s-themed bash set for May 18 at the Palmdale Amphitheater, according to a release published on Palmdale's official website.

Mayor Austin Bishop, head of Visit Palmdale, told festivalgoers to expect "a terrific opportunity for our community to come together, make new friends, and have fun." The arena will be belting out Duran Duran hits Kings of Queen will be serving up a dose of Freddie Mercury's magic, and So Madonna is gonna vogue the night away. 

Tickets and parking passes aren't available at the door and can only be ordered online. According to details snagged from the Palmdale Amphitheater's website, VIP ticket holders can start their trip at 5:00 P.M., a full hour before the event.
