Two Minneapolis-area men are in hot water after allegedly trying to burglarize a communications tower in Morrison County, officials said. The suspects, identified as 42-year-old Travis Zaiser of Minneapolis, and 40-year-old Gabriel Smith of Dellwood, were caught on camera by an employee of Fallsnet during the act, according to the sheriff's office.

The attempted burglary occurred on May 15 around 3:41 pm, near Little Falls, MN. Deputies reportedly arrived at the scene, located about a mile southwest of Little Falls in Pike Creek Township, and detained the duo. Zaiser and Smith were found with evidence suggesting they had forced their way onto the property, the sheriff's office said, leading to their arrest.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the MN State Patrol, took Zaiser and Smith into custody. They were booked into Morrison County Jail, where they are being held pending formal charges for their involvement in the burglary .
