Police responded to a shooting and multiple reports of gunfire over the weekend in the city's southeastern neighborhoods.

On Friday afternoon around 4:25pm, a 19-year-old man was shot after getting off a bus near the corner of Geneva Avenue and Santos Street in the Sunnydale district near Cow Palace.

The suspect fled the scene, and the victim, who suffered non-life-threatening wounds, was driven to a hospital in another vehicle.

At 12:26am on Saturday, officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation near the intersection of France Avenue and Moscow Street near Crocker Amazon Playground in the Excelsior district. No property damage or injuries were reported, but police recovered spent shell casings.

About two hours later and a mile away on the 1800 block of Silliman Street at 2:33am, a video was captured that depicts a passenger firing a handgun several times from a vehicle before fleeing south on Valmar Terrace.

Although there were no one was injured and no property was damaged, police recovered spent shell casings at the scene.
