The police department's Homicide Detail is investigating a man's death in Chinatown.

Investigators have released little information, but police responded to an address near Joice and Clay streets in Chinatown yesterday around 8:30am after someone reported the discovery of an unidentified male victim.

As of this writing, no suspect has been identified or arrested. Hoodline contacted SFPD's Media Relations Unit to request additional details, but the department is not releasing any information to the public at this time.

We'll continue to look into this matter, but anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.

Here’s why we usually don’t include suspect descriptions in crime reports.
