Police responded to multiple gun-related incidents around the city over the weekend, including a drive-by shooting in the Mission that wounded two people.

On Friday evening around 7:25 p.m., police responded to a Shot Spotter activation near Brookdale Avenue and Santos Street in Sunnydale. After arriving at the scene, officers found bullet casings, as well as a damaged vehicle belonging to a 49-year-old man.

A few hours later, around 10:08 p.m., a bullet struck a residence on the 200 block of Delta Street in Visitacion Valley. Police spoke to a 33-year-old male resident who was not injured and didn't see the suspect.

At 12:05 a.m. on Saturday morning, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Clementina Street in SoMa after receiving reports of shots fired. Police found damage to an apartment door belonging to a 33-year-old woman, but no one was injured or arrested.

Later that evening at around 11:53 p.m. on the 3700 block of 26th Street, two men, 21 and 43, were outside with a group of people when they were approached by a vehicle carrying two men said to be 20 years old.

As the suspects drew near, they opened fire, then fled the scene. Both victims suffered non-life-threatening wounds and were transported to a hospital for treatment.

Anyone who has information about any of these incidents is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
