A Monday-night shooting at 16th and Valencia streets killed a man of unknown age, and critically injured a 55-year-old woman.

The shooting, which occurred just after 1 a.m., is being investigated as a homicide. Police say that the male victim was dead at the scene when they arrived, while the female victim was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition. 

No suspects have been identified, pending further investigation. We'll update this post as we learn more.
