A deadly traffic collision in Leimert Park has left one person dead and three others injured in the early hours of Saturday morning. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred at approximately 2:55 AM at 2601 W Obama Boulevard.

Traveling into a house, one of the two vehicles involved sheared a fire hydrant before catching fire. The Los Angeles Police Department's South Traffic Division is handling the media inquiries for this incident, with the area now turned into a scene of destruction reminiscent of an action movie set, but with very real consequences. The age and gender of one of the victims who died at the scene are still to be determined.

As firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene, they found three survivors amongst the wreckage. The injured were transported to a regional trauma center and were identified as a 30-year-old female, an 18-year-old male, and a 19-year-old female, with their injuries unspecified at this time. The Los Angeles Fire Department detailed these preliminary findings in their official statement.
