But, tonight's 'increasing clouds' will be a parade of showers and possibly thunderstorms starting Tuesday. A regular dousing is on tap for Tuesday, complete with a 90% chance of precipitation and new rainfall amounts that could range between a quarter and a half an inch, per the National Weather Service’s report. Tuesday night's forecast is pretty much an echo of the day's, with a drop in the chance of precipitation to 80%.

Now, Wednesday seems like it could serve as a brief interlude with a return to mostly sunny weather and highs soaring near 82°F and by Thursday night, skies will largely clear, setting the stage for a mix of sun and potential showers to close out the week. There is a slight chance of rain on Friday.

The weekend outlook doesn't fare much better, with a steady drop of forecasts pointing to showers and thunderstorms coming in hot with a 60 percent likelihood. And while Saturday night might offer a glimpse of stars in a partly cloudy sky, the roulette wheel spins back to a forecast of 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Sunday, with a mostly sunny forecast and a high near 81, there's still a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms to contend with.
