Angie's Burger Debuts in Central Phoenix, Bringing Prime Steakhouse Beef to the MassesSource: Angie's Burger

Phoenix's latest dining spot, Angie's Burger, opened its doors today at 53 W. Thomas Road, sharing a roof with sibling establishment Angie's Prime Grill. Created by Tony and Roushan Christofellis, the duo previously known for launching the drive-through Salad and Go, this new venture adds another dimension to Angie's Food Concepts.

Serving up burgers made from prime steakhouse beef, the prices at Angie's Burger are as down-to-earth as its menu. According to ABC15, the menu features a range of hearty options, including a bacon cheeseburger decked out with sharp cheddar and a burger topped with an over-medium egg, ranging from a modest $7.99 to $9.99. Making it a meal with fries and a drink adds only two bucks to the tab.

The couple's gastronomic vision goes beyond just burgers and fries. "If we are going to make luxury food like Maine Lobster, Wild-caught Mexican Colossal Shrimp, USDA Prime Steak, and now Prime Steakhouse Burgers affordable to everyone, we cannot apply the traditional restaurant business model. We are going to have to be extremely innovative," Tony Christofellis affirmed, as per ABC15.

Angie's Burger's new concept is nestled comfortably inside Angie's Prime Grill location, though, unlike its Lobster counterpart, there’s no drive-through option. This lessens the hassle of waiting in line, aimed at those preferring an indoor dining experience, offering customers an opportunity to sit down and enjoy their meal inside. For those looking to catch the latest culinary scoop, as cited by MXSW's newsletter.

But it's not just about the food—the legacy of the Christofellis family is interwoven through the business concept. "It’s significant because that represents the way she lived her life. She was a single mom, she had so much compassion, so much love, so much fight, and so much energy. And she had so much fun — she was so full of light, it was amazing,” Tony Christofellis told ABC15, reminiscing about his mother Angela, whom the venture is named after.
