The search for Michael Metzler, a 55-year-old man from Dania Beach, Florida, intensifies as the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) Missing Persons Unit calls on the community for aid. Metzler, described as standing 6 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing about 240 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes, was last seen around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to WSVN.

He was spotted along the 400 block of East Sheridan Street in Dania Beach. Notable for a tribal style tattoo on his right arm and a tattoo of Darth Vader on his back, Metzler's disappearance has mobilized law enforcement and locals alike in a concerted effort to locate him. His family has relayed to detectives that Michael suffers from depression and anxiety, adding layers of concern to his unaccounted absence.

With every hour that passes, BSO continues to urge anyone with information about Metzler's whereabouts to step forward. "Officials urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact BSO Detective Leonard Charla at 954-321-4274 or the BSO non-emergency number, 954-764-HELP (4357)," reported WSVN. 

The BSO has reiterated that the family's concern is compounded by the fact that Michael copes with significant mental health challenges.
