Law enforcement officials are on the hunt for suspect Steven Ross, who is facing serious charges after being linked to child pornography. Constable Mark Herman's High Tech Crimes Unit received tips which led to the discovery of multiple images of child sexual abuse material in Ross's possession. A sweep of his online accounts unearthed a trove of illicit content, according to a statement from the precinct.

Investigators, working off the back of Cybertips, secured a search warrant and managed to retrieve disturbing media from Ross's online accounts. The evidence was clear as it indicated Ross not only held this material but had also shared it with others online. In light of the findings, the Harris County District Attorney's Office didn't hesitate in slapping Ross with five counts of Promotion of Child Pornography.

Constable Mark Herman turned to the public for assistance in tracking down Ross. "Steven Ross is currently wanted on these charges. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts, you are encouraged to call our dispatch at 281-376-3472, or their local law enforcement agency." he declared in a statement. The charges inject new urgency into an ongoing battle against the exploitation of children online.
