A manhunt is underway for 57-year-old Anthony Martin Landry, who has been charged with the murder of Jeffrey Limmer, 46. The fatal incident took place at a restaurant located at 8147 Katy Freeway on the evening of May 4, according to the Houston Police Department.

Limmer was found by HPD officers responding to the scene, unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. The Houston Fire Department paramedics declared the victim dead upon their arrival. After fleeing in an early 2000s model blue Ford pickup truck, Landry, who currently remains at large, was charged with murder in the 209th State District Court, as announced in a news release.

Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettrey of the HPD Homicide Division, as described in the preliminary investigation, suggested that a verbal disagreement preceded the shooting. The altercation allegedly led Landry to shoot Limmer, resulting ultimately in his death. Amidst the search, a prior booking photo of Landry has been circulated to aid in his capture.
