It's set to draw a dark line right through some rad spots: from the chill of the Arctic to the historic landscapes of northern Spain and Iceland, and before you ask, the United States has to wait until August 2044 to witness the earth, moon, and sun in celestial alignment once again.

Joining forces with Astronomers Without Borders, a non-profit stacked with collection hubs across North America, the Mesquite Eclipse Glasses Roundup is all about sharing the love—and the view. This org is no rookie at rerouting eyewear; after the 2017 solar spectacle, they played hot potato with over 2 million glasses, and this time around they chucked about 300,000 pairs into the mix before the April eclipse this year.
