Minneapolis Police made a swift move against crime, nabbing four people tied to a carjacking at gunpoint, along with a cache of BB guns and drugs. The arrest came after police officers, on proactive patrol on the evening of May 4, laid eyes on a vehicle known to be hijacked the previous night, as reported by the Minneapolis Police Department.

In a brazen display of tenacity, the officers gave chase and cornered the car in the vicinity of Cedar Ave/Washington Ave, leading to the arrest of three men and a woman. The Minneapolis Police Department, in a post on their official Facebook page, stated that two of the individuals were no strangers to handcuffs, with numerous prior brushes with the law.

Recovered from the vehicle were two BB guns - deceptive in their close resemblance to lethal firearms - narcotics, and an assortment of stolen goods. The arrest adds another notch to the belt of the department, marking the second recovery of a carjacked vehicle in just three nights. "This is one of many examples each day of the relentless dedication of our officers to protecting all our residents from harm and disrupting violent criminal behavior," boasted Chief O’Hara in the statement, as per the Minneapolis Police Department.
