According to the San Diego County Crime Stoppers, the drama unfolded on March 19, when an armed individual targeted the gas station at the ungodly hour of 4:08 a.m. Brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun, he demanded the clerk hand over the cash. This suspect fled after scooping an undisclosed sum, disappearing into the urban sprawl.

The man law enforcement is hunting is described as a Hispanic male aged 25 to 30. His height is pegged around 5'10" with a thin build. He's got a taste for black clothing, as demonstrated by his attire during the heist—a black "SD" hat, hooded sweatshirt, pants, gloves with some white writing, and a pair of black and white athletic shoes.
