A teenage boy was airlifted to a hospital after getting shot during a robbery in Homestead, officials said Wednesday.

Homestead police report the shooting happened Tuesday near the 900 Block of NW 1st Avenue. The 15-year-old victim, found wounded at the scene, was soon airlifted in stable condition to Jackson South Trauma Center, as per the details shared by NBC6.
